
Situation / Request: The teams were using an outdated system to manage daily operations, prompting the company to develop a brand-new tool to enhance capabilities and deliver a better customer experience.
Solution: I was appointed as the French specialist to join a task force for this initiative. I traveled to multiple countries to gather input from team members and worked closely with IT teams to design the structure and features of the new tool over the course of a year. This experience was particularly insightful, as I learned that the old software was used differently across countries due to specific internal processes. Collaborating with IT was also instructive, giving me an appreciation for the challenges of creating an interactive and user-friendly tool without deep knowledge of the complexities of transport and logistics.
Results: By the end of 2021, the new IT tool was launched, and I was responsible for the training process. The teams adapted to the new system quickly, and I was honored with another FedEx Bravo Zulu Award for my efforts.
