Situation / Request: During the COVID-19 crisis, our healthcare client needed to deliver goods from their production site to 80 hospitals across France under highly time-sensitive conditions, with deadlines requiring same-day or early-morning deliveries.

Solution: Upon receiving the request and all relevant data, we organized milk runs tailored to the delivery regions, collaborating with four different suppliers to cover key areas in France. We had to consider multiple factors, including the nature of the goods (Dangerous Goods), vehicle capacity, and driving restrictions. Since the deliveries were to hospitals, we had the advantage of being able to deliver 24/7. My team and I were dedicated to monitoring deliveries late into the night to ensure everything went smoothly.

Results: The operation was a success, with 96% of the hospitals receiving their deliveries on time. The entire operation generated an invoice of €150,000 for the client, accomplished within just two working days, and yielded a healthy gross margin.
